Burnby Hall These delightful Gardens, close to the centre of Pocklington, are home to a National Collection of Hardy Water Lilies.

Burton Agnes Hall is an exquisite Elizabethan house filled with treasures including art, furniture and porcelain collected by the family over five centuries. Lawns and topiary bushes surround the Hall and an award winning walled garden contains a maze, giant games, a jungle garden and more than four thousand plant species.

CastleHoward is one of Britain’s finest historic houses and is still home to the Howard family whose forebears conceived, designed, and built it over three centuries ago.

Dalby Forest is situated on the southern slopes of the North York Moors National Park.  The southern part of the forest is divided by a number of valleys creating a ‘Rigg and Dale’ landscape whilst to the north the forest sits on the upland plateau.  

EdenCamp This award winning Museum is an original Prisoner of War Camp built in 1942. Our fascinating displays hold, and reveal to you, the vital spirit which eventually triumphed in 1945. These superb and lifelike exhibits make a visit  a wonderful and educational day out for all the family.
