Techy Tea

Check out this ‘free drop in’ session for technical advice on computers, laptops, mobile phones and tablets etc. You bring it, they will show you how to use it! Have a cuppa, while you are learning and meet the Team.

The Techy Tea Team will be at Foxholes Community Hall every Tuesday from 1.00pm till 3.00pm in the comfort of our Library. So take this opportunity to enlighten your technical know how!

This is what they have to say : –

FOXHOLES!!! Techy Tea is coming!!

After doing a little networking at the coffee morning this morning, we’re all prepared and ready to go on Tuesday afternoon!

Our first drop-in outside of Nafferton is starting! With plenty of parking and beautiful views, we’re sure Foxholes Community Hall will be a great next step in our developments.

It embeds what we want to achieve with feet in the ground in the most rural parts of East Yorkshire. We’re incredibly proud to be doing this and very motivated to continue working hard to bring more free drop-in sessions and more techy solutions!!

Giving residents a warm space to come for a hot (or cold!) drink and some snacks. Why not come along? We’re in the Community Hall from 1pm till 3.00pm.

Warbler Lite

Covid put a stop to paper copies of the Warbler being delivered and post Covid seemed a natural point to take stock. There did not seem to be the same demand for paper copies and considering the amount of leg work various people put in it seemed to be reasonable to continue as an online publication.

However, I recognise that there are people out there who are not on the internet or don’t ‘do’ email so I am attempting to cover that base.

To that end I shall also be compiling the additional new Warbler Lite; (link updated April 2026) a stripped back version of the Warbler with essential information about what is going on where.

I am restricting it to 2 sides of A4 so I am asking you, the faithful ‘onliners’ that if you know someone who might appreciate a copy, that you would print it out and give it to them.

It would be great if you could let me know if you make this gesture. I can’t promise you a Gold Star but it will be appreciated!
